Smartie has a lovely, confident nature and is straight forward to handle in all ways. She is a good with the vet and farrier.. She has been relaxed when left on her own in a stable so may be suitable as a companion for a ridden horse or pony, however this would need to be built on in a new environment, allowing her time to settle.
She is looking for a home where her weight can be managed. With correct grazing, shelter and rugs she could be happy living out 24/7 but equally could be stabled for part of the time. She does have sweet itch, a windy, exposed or coastal site would be the best match for her, however, this is not essential. She would best suit a home with a knowledgeable and dedicated handler
Smartie is on daily medication for her mobility. She is being rehomed on our Prime Pastures scheme, where we can contribute towards the cost of her veterinary care.
