It’s a boy!
We’re delighted to tell you that Nia’s little foal, who’s field birth was captured so beautifully on webcam recently, is growing stronger by the day.
The tiny chestnut colt was born on the 29th August in the early evening, in full view of one of the Sanctuary’s CCTV feeds.
Nia and her new foal now have sanctuary for life with us. But we wouldn’t have been able to rescue them and give them all the care and specialist attention they need without help from our incredible supporters who are so generous to follow our stories, share our news and kindly donate.
That’s why we would love you to name the newborn foal.
Help us name him
Nia’s little newborn foal is doing well. He’s already finding his feet and exploring his surroundings at our Newton Abbot sanctuary.
But we don’t know what to call this beautiful chestnut colt. Can you help?
Enter our competition to name him and you could win an exclusive chance to visit the new foal! You’ll also get some Mare and Foal Sanctuary goodies and a beautiful photo of him.
You can enter as many times as you like, and the winning name will be announced on Friday 20th September.
Good luck!
